Practical Information for Attending Pole Theatre USA
Flights: If you are flying into Colorado, you should arrive at Denver International Airport. From the airport there are multiple transportation options for getting to where you are staying, from buses to light rail to Lyft. However we highly recommend renting a car, especially if you’re traveling with friends and can split the cost, as it will make getting to and from workshops much easier for you.
Stay: Pole Theatre USA is held at the Oriental Theater (click to see on map) in Denver, right in the middle of the Tennyson area which has a ton of cute shops and local restaurants. Workshops will be held at different studios in the Denver/Boulder area. Use hotels.com to search all the hotels in the area in one go, or airbnb.com if you’d rather rent a guest room/condo/house. BOOK EARLY. You cannot show up to Denver without a room booked and expect to find a place to stay, as this area often sells out of rooms completely.
Dates: Workshops begin on Friday, September 1, and run through Monday, September 4. Pole Theatre USA takes place on Saturday, September 2, with Semi-Pro as an early-afternoon show and Professional as an evening show. Come for the whole weekend, and add in some extra time to explore the Denver area! (Have you really been to Colorado unless you visited Rocky Mountain National Park or went on a hike? We think not ;-)
Buy your tickets online in advance to save $$ and help us speed up entry to the venue. You can buy tickets to Semi-Pro and Professional separately, or buy a combo-ticket to save. You can also get VIP combo-tickets, which gets you entry to the theater 30 minutes before GA ticket holders so you can snag the best seats in the house.
You can see the full lineup of workshops here on our website and sign up directly without going through separate studios for registration. Workshop spots are limited as we never want more than two people sharing one pole, and last year most workshops sold out weeks in advance, so sign up now to guarantee that you get in! All workshops are held at pole studios with mounted poles and proper flooring – not stage poles with carpet flooring!
